Assembly Operator Job Description

Spherion Mid Ohio, in partnership with a well-established industry leader in Dundee, OH, is seeking highly motivated assembly operators to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a respected and innovative local manufacturer that offers a complete line of residential, commercial, and industrial door systems.

Available Shifts:
  • Monday-Thursday 1st shift: 5:30am-4:00pm
  • 2nd shift: 4:00pm-3:30am

Overtime may be required. The pay rate for 1st shift is $18.00/hour, and for 2nd shift, it is $19.00/hour.

Work Environment:

The work environment is brightly lit, clean, organized, and team-oriented, with advancement opportunities and plenty of room to grow within the company.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assemble products to specifications according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Use power and hand tools as required.
  • Use a tape measure as needed.
  • Meet production standards.
  • Stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds regularly, 30 pounds frequently.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 months of assembly-related experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly lifting up to 35 pounds.

Successful candidates will have good attendance, great eye-hand coordination, and great dependability.
