Role Summary:
Become an integral part of a diverse organization dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address issues related to laboratory equipment, test outcomes, samples, and workflow.
- Engage in team collaborations or undertake special projects as needed.
- Provide educational support to Clinical Laboratory Science students and Pathology residents, and assist in training new staff.
- Conduct quality control checks and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological analyses.
- Prepare samples and necessary reagents, solutions, and filters as required.
- Communicate test results to healthcare professionals and collaborate on result interpretations.
- Review and verify test results to ensure accuracy and prompt correction of any discrepancies.
Education Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Must be eligible to take the MT exam within 12 months of employment.
Licensure/Certification:
● Certification must be obtained within one year of becoming eligible.
Experience:
● No prior experience is necessary.
Skills and Abilities:
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
