Job Title: Computational Biologist, Genomics

We are seeking a highly skilled Computational Biologist to join our team at Bayside Solutions, Inc. in Redwood City, CA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for exploring and integrating multi-omic datasets, analyzing single-cell genomics data, and contributing to the development of analysis pipelines and computational tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and analyze multi-omic datasets, including DNA mutation, gene expression, and copy-number.
  • Analyze single-cell genomics data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Collaborate with scientists and researchers to design and implement analysis pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain computational tools and software for data analysis.
  • Communicate research findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • M.S. in bioinformatics, genomics, or a related field.
  • Experience with differential gene expression analysis and somatic DNA mutation calling.
  • Proficient in R or Python programming languages.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
