Job Summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for acquiring new business through sales of fire protection services, including fire sprinkler systems and related services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire sales leads for new work and sell Summit's services to customers.
  • Provide outside and inside sales support to customers.
  • Solicit all building and construction types, including new construction, renovations, additions, and retrofits.
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact to acquisition of contract.
  • Generate new relationships and foster existing relationships with customers.
  • Communicate status of active proposals to management.
  • Attend meetings with customers and stakeholders.
  • Represent Summit Fire & Security as a face of the company amongst our customer base and industry.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in business development or fire life safety sales preferred.
  • 2 years of operating a computer and Microsoft Office required.
  • Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.
