Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address the needs of students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and provide effective therapy services
  • Provide direct therapy services to students and monitor their progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy services

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Ohio state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA certification or eligibility for certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
