Position Title: Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer

Location: Plymouth, MN (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and architect analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit solutions, addressing both chip-level and cell-level requirements.
  • Oversee the design of ASIC input/output and ancillary circuitry.
  • Generate, validate, and distribute IBIS models for associated I/O circuits.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding I/O configurations.
  • Establish design specifications encompassing block definitions, schematic generation, and simulation processes.
  • Execute design integration, testing, analysis, and iterative improvements.
  • Plan and facilitate radiation testing for microelectronic circuits.

Required Tools and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Synopsys Design Compiler.
  • Experience with Synopsys PrimeTime.
  • Familiarity with Synopsys DFT Compiler.
  • Expertise in Synopsys IC Compiler.
  • Knowledge of Synopsys TetraMAX.
  • Experience with Siemens Tessent MemoryBIST.
  • Proficient in Ansys Redhawk.
  • Skilled in Synopsys IC Validator.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • US Citizenship is required due to project specifications.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Analog Mixed Signal Design.
  • Familiarity with Siemens/Cadence IC design tools.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Plymouth, MN.
  • Experience with DDR3, PLL, or SerDes design.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems and scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, or TCL.
  • Experience in radiation effects analysis.
  • Expertise in advanced node and SOI technology design.
  • Familiarity with Siemens Physical Verification tools and methodologies.
