Job Summary

The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, and health promotion, and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice/nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in nursing (Associate's, Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid nursing license in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of safety and respect.
