Financial Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant in St. Louis, MO.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure compliance and correct financial reporting. Estimated annual salary range is $65,000 - $85,000.

• Guarantee adherence to GAAP and other regulations.
• Aid with annual auditing procedures.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Contribute to accounts payable and receivable tasks.
• Consolidate and post journal entries.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Assist in the reconciliation of sales tax and preparation of monthly sales tax returns.
• Work with other departments to provide financial insights and assistance.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain fixed asset logs and depreciation schedules.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for financial statements.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• 2+ years accounting experience.
• Proficiency in using accounting software.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, not required.
• Highly detail-oriented and strong organizational capabilities.
• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
