Position Overview:

The role involves contributing to a team within a commercial laundry environment. The individual will be tasked with the secure, efficient, and precise management of items entering and exiting the laundry facility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and organize the workstation effectively.
  • Transfer hangers from the storage area to the designated garment support.
  • For shirts, position the hanger correctly, retrieve the shirt from the designated area, and ensure it is properly hung, adjusting sleeves as necessary.
  • For pants, take the garment from the designated area, handle it carefully to maintain its shape, and hang it appropriately.
  • Identify and mark items requiring repairs that do not meet quality standards, using a twist tie for easy identification.
  • Ensure garments are placed on the designated conveyor system for processing.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to best practices in all operational tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Comprehension of all necessary training, as well as written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic mathematical skills are essential.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.


Work Environment and Safety Considerations:

The position is situated in a warehouse environment, frequently exposed to varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, dust, and noise. The work schedule may include shifts and weekends, with overtime as needed. Physical requirements include repetitive motions throughout the shift, along with bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, and lifting. The role necessitates the use of hands for grasping and manipulation, as well as prolonged periods of standing and walking.


Educational Background:
