Job Summary:
The Henry County Hospital is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients throughout the hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Administer aerosol therapy, oxygen, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and maintain ventilators, ensuring optimal patient care.
- Read and interpret physician prescriptions and orders to determine treatment requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Ohio licensure and National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification required.
