Job Summary:

The Certified Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients throughout the hospital. This includes administering aerosol therapy, performing BLS, ventilator care, and oxygen therapy, as well as reading and interpreting physician prescriptions to determine treatment requirements.

Responsibilities:
Administer aerosol therapy and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
Perform BLS, ventilator care, and oxygen therapy as needed
Read and interpret physician prescriptions to determine treatment requirements
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Requirements:
Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience
Clinical training acquired through educational processes
Ohio licensure and National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification required for Registered Respiratory Therapists
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications preferred
