Parts Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team at PPS-HPS. As a Parts Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frequent visits to an assigned book of business to prospect for new customers and identify sales opportunities.
  • Communicating parts orders and customer needs to the appropriate local partners.
  • Following up on parts orders to ensure that customers have been served properly.
  • Turning in reports, documentation, and expenses in a timely manner.
  • Updating customer records to reflect changes to customers' names, addresses, etc.
  • Attending training seminars when possible.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of prior B2B experience.
  • Ability to close sales with all levels of customers from fleet executives to single owner-operators.
  • Ability to uncover customer needs and timeline in a consultative manner and match those needs with the features and benefits of a particular product and appropriate service expectations.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding time management and organization.
  • Experience managing leads and opportunities within a customer database or CRM system.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and Windows-based computer systems.
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required.
  • Ability to pass a drug test required.
