About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and fashion-forward Style Consultant to join our team at Target. As a Style Consultant, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inspiring shopping environment for our guests. You will be knowledgeable about our apparel and accessories products and be able to provide personalized recommendations to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming and inspiring shopping environment by staying current on trends and brand guides.
  • Provide personalized recommendations to guests and ensure product availability by keeping the salesfloor replenished and organized.
  • Be knowledgeable about our tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
  • Support changes to product assortment and keep the area inspiring to guests all year round by setting transitions on time, remerchandising new product and maintaining a brand space following new sets.
  • Ensure regular and promotional signing is set accurately for defined categories and be knowledgeable of products on promotion.
  • Execute revisions, sales plans and planograms for defined categories.
  • Complete Radio Frequency ID (RFID) scans in select areas and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Acknowledge guests as you complete workload with minimal guest disruption, review sales trends to understand how to prioritize daily workload based on business and guest needs.

We are looking for a team member who is passionate about fashion and has a strong interest in apparel and accessories products. You should be welcoming and helpful towards guests and other team members, and have effective communication skills. You should also be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and be able to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
