This role offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, along with a generous sign-on bonus of $2,000. As a Residential Counselor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their well-being and empowerment.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual who can align student education and residential services with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Intervention Learning Plans (ILPs). Key responsibilities include assisting residents with daily routines, completing required record-keeping and data collection, and selecting activities suited to each resident's capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus one of the following:
    • Associate degree or higher with a minimum of 12 credits in Human Services, Education, Counseling, Psychology, or Related Field
    • Parent of a child over 7 years old
    • 2 years of full-time paid or volunteer experience working with children (3000 hours)
    • A combination of college credits in the field and experience working with children that totals 2 years
