Job DescriptionCategory Management

The International Freight Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing an overall category strategy for Ocean, Transloading, and Air freight. This includes sourcing strategies, process improvements, and standardization that align with our Category Strategy and Transportation Game Plan.

Market Insights and Communication

The International Freight Strategist will proactively communicate Market Insights and evaluate their impact on Arconic. They will also effectively communicate current events to stakeholders.

Project Management and Compliance

The International Freight Strategist will act as Project Manager in the evaluation and deployment of automated Booking processes for Ocean and Air shipments. They will also collaborate with Global Trade Compliance to ensure all shipments are compliant with import/export requirements.

Escalation Point and Stakeholder Collaboration

The International Freight Strategist will act as an escalation point for stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective transportation of International and air shipments. They will also effectively navigate international freight issues with stakeholders and partners to resolve operational issues.
