Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating SMT assembly equipment, ensuring high-quality production runs, and supporting the production line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate SMT screen printers and other assembly equipment to produce high-quality products.
  • Monitor production runs to ensure acceptable quality levels and make adjustments as needed.
  • Support the production line by setting up feeders, verifying equipment, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Check foot straps for ESD compliance and follow ISO process sheets for operations.
  • Adhere to all quality and safety guidelines, including those related to material handling and storage.
  • Participate in performance feedback and contribute to the development of department processes.
  • Log defects and errors into the traceability system and ensure non-conforming material is dispositioned appropriately.
  • Communicate equipment or program issues to engineering and maintenance support as needed.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of quality procedures and experience with machine operation in an industrial/production environment.
  • Previous SMT machine operation experience is preferred.
  • Able to read blueprints and understand material tolerances.
  • Computer skills and ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Ability to be precise and detailed in work and willing to cross-train into other production positions.
