Job DescriptionEHS Specialist

As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety and environmental regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Leading and managing incident investigations, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Developing and implementing safety programs and policies to promote a safe working environment.
  • Providing safety training and education to employees, ensuring awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitoring environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operations and processes.
  • Tracking and reporting EHS performance metrics, driving continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintaining and updating safety documentation, records, and compliance reports.
  • Leading emergency preparedness efforts, including conducting drills and updating emergency response plans.
