As a Critical Care Nurse - RN, you will contribute to advancing nursing practices and enhancing positive patient outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications
Registered nurses are responsible for delivering and coordinating patient care. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide both physical and emotional support to patients and their families.

Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting assessments and reassessments.
  • Developing individualized care plans.
  • Administering medications and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Educating patients and families about care processes.
  • Ensuring proper maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Communicating patient needs effectively.


In this role, you will:
Monitor, document, and report changes in patients' conditions while maintaining precise and thorough records. You will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.

Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, treatment options, and care appropriate for the age groups served. Promote hospital customer service initiatives and utilize the nursing process to meet individual patient needs. Exhibit proficiency in performing technical skills and procedures.


Qualifications:
  • Current RN licensure by the KY Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications within one year of employment.
  • CPI certification within six months of employment.
