We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our operations, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing mechanical systems for our commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and design mechanical systems for commercial construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
  • Utilize Auto Cad and Solidworks to create detailed 2D or 3D designs.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers and other professionals on project planning and implementation.
  • Analyze mechanical systems for potential improvements and redesigns.
  • Ensure all mechanical designs meet the requirements of the project and comply with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure the mechanical systems are implemented correctly and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems related to mechanical design.
  • Continuously update technical knowledge and skills by attending workshops, researching emerging trends in the construction industry, and studying product design.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design for commercial buildings.
  • Familiarity with building HVAC load analysis and multiple HVAC system types.
  • International Mechanical and Energy Conservation Codes knowledge.
  • Proven experience with HVAC, plumbing, and piping system design.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering principles and industry regulations.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
