Audubon Companies is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a key role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project development processes, analyzing blueprints and specifications to ensure project goals are met.
  • Design system models according to clients' requirements and budget limitations.
  • Review mechanical datasheets, piping specifications, and plant layouts to ensure compliance with client standards.
  • Interface with subject matter experts, engineering contractors, and fabrication vendors to ensure project success.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure mechanical capabilities, PSM compliance, safety, and environmental requirements meet business goals.
  • Provide guidance on rotating and fixed equipment specifications, equipment design reviews, and supplier recommendations.
  • Participate in PHAs, model reviews, and mechanical reviews throughout the project design.
  • Ensure the mechanical scope aligns with site reliability and maintenance practices.
  • Lead mechanical inspection efforts and act as the primary interface with in-house and contract inspectors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering focused on projects in chemical, petrochemical, or refinery settings.
  • Experience with fixed, rotating, and packaged equipment, process piping, plot plan design, mechanical and piping codes and standards.
