Job Title: Technical Sales Consultant - New Account Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Consultant to join our team at Phenomenex. As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for achieving sales and profit objectives for assigned territories through daily phone calls and follow-up with potential customers. You will also provide technical support and assistance to customers in the areas of HPLC, SPE, and GC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales and profit objectives for assigned territories through daily phone calls and follow-up with potential customers.
- Use MSCRM tool to create a funnel of potential customers and develop a commercial game plan to drive new account growth in a given territory.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers in the areas of HPLC, SPE, and GC.
- Work with the marketing team to develop plans in accordance with territory requirements for new account growth.
- Consistently update MSCRM database for respective territories with recap and information from daily customer interactions.
- Follow-up on territory marketing plans to accomplish sales, customer support, and technical assistance objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other Life Science.
- At least 1 year of experience in an office setting.
- Solid background in all areas of Phenomenex products or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of pertinent governmental requirements and regulations.
- 1+ year of pharma/life science lab work preferred.
- Experience with virtual TEAMs/Zoom meetings preferred.
