Enterprise Data Manager Job Description

Catch Resource Management is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Manager to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data governance and master data management (MDM) strategy across the enterprise.

This is a great opportunity to join our organization at the very beginning of a major digital transformation program, working closely with key stakeholders across business units, IT, and data teams to identify and prioritize data domains for MDM implementation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement MDM Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of an enterprise-wide Master Data Management strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and data governance policies.
  • Data Governance Framework: Establish and enforce a robust data governance framework, including data standards, data quality rules, and data stewardship roles, to support MDM initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize data domains for MDM implementation.
  • Data Quality Management: Define and implement data quality metrics, controls, and monitoring processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of master data.
  • MDM Tool Implementation: Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of MDM tools and technologies, working closely with IT and data architecture teams.
  • Data Stewardship: Establish and manage a network of data stewards responsible for data quality and governance within their respective domains.
  • Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to promote data governance and MDM best practices, driving cultural change and user adoption across the organization.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that data management practices comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track MDM effectiveness, data quality improvements, and data governance compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor the performance of MDM processes and tools, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and have a strong understanding of data management principles, policies, and standards, as well as data quality management, data stewardship, and data governance frameworks.
