About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team at Pet Paradise Resort. As a Pet Bather, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the grooming department with baths prior to scheduled grooms
  • Provide 'go-home' baths as requested by clients or management
  • Perform nail trims, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears in a safe manner as trained
  • Properly secure and reassure pets to ensure optimal safety and comfort
  • Keep bathing stations clean and have tools cleaned and ready for next use
  • Ask for assistance immediately if a pet demonstrates unusual stress
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and comfortably; prior animal handling experience highly preferred
  • Must have the physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift or move heavy pets or objects from time to time
  • Ability to calmly handle and bathe pets that may be scared or show hesitation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times
