About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Controls Specialist to join our team at Knauf Insulation. As a key member of our factory operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing control systems to optimize our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement control systems for factory automation equipment
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, variable speed drives, and instrumentation
  • Collaborate with engineers and vendors on new equipment installation and process improvements
  • Act as a liaison between corporate engineering and plant process controls
  • Work with factory management to identify and correct equipment-related issues
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of industrial or electrical controls experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Rockwell Automation software and hardware
  • Knowledge of PLC programming, VSD, and motor controls
  • Ability to develop and read instrumentation diagrams and ladder/relay logic
