Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Sushi Chefs in preparing and cooking sushi dishes to meet high-quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food products.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in sushi preparation and cooking.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in sushi preparation and cooking.
  • Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training preferred.
Working Conditions

The work environment at Sushi Den is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality food products to our customers. As a Sushi Apprentice, you will be required to work in a kitchen environment with moderate noise levels and temperatures. You will also be required to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
