Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students in a K-12 setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' strengths and needs, and develop strategies to promote academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Intervention and Consultation: Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to improve student outcomes, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create positive learning environments.
  • Crisis Intervention and Counseling: Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to students as needed, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all services provided.
  • Professional Development: Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote positive behavior support, mental health awareness, and academic achievement.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active North Carolina State School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with diverse populations, and knowledge of evidence-based practices for assessment, intervention, and consultation in schools.
