Position Summary:
The Air Service Technician at TriNova Inc. is a vital field role that engages directly with customers to install, service, audit, and maintain AIR Systems at various locations with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on piston and rotary screw air compressors.
- Service and repair multi-brand compressors, including both oil-flooded and oil-free models.
- Perform maintenance on refrigerated and desiccant air dryers.
- Utilize multi-brand compressor controllers to gather data for troubleshooting air compressor issues.
- Provide telephone support to customers, offering product information and resolving problems.
- Assist inside support staff with technical guidance for quoting multi-year maintenance contracts and individual service quotes.
- Inspect, test, and recommend modifications to existing air equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer’s operational standards.
- Document service calls accurately and professionally through field service reports.
- Identify potential system faults before on-site visits to prepare necessary test equipment and spare parts.
- Effectively communicate with customers, TriNova Sales, Management, Account Managers, and Engineers regarding issues, solutions, and work schedules.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
- Experience in industrial maintenance with a solid mechanical and/or electrical foundation.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with desiccant air dryers.
- Knowledge of air audit processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with instrumentation.
- Experience in HVAC systems.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- CAGI or AirMaster certification is preferred.
- HVAC 608 Certification Universal.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.

- Some local travel may be necessary.
