**Job Description**

Tate Branch Autoplex Carlsbad is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure all customer inquiries are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
  • Help keep the shop, receiving, stocking, and cataloging of parts orderly.
  • Provide knowledgeable advice and ideas on product selection and pricing to customers.
  • Process invoices, orders, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Diagnose customer needs and offer solutions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Help increase sales and customer loyalty.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product features/benefits and applicable discounts.
  • Communicate closely with sales staff and other departments to ensure customer's requests are handled promptly.

Salary and Benefits

The compensation for this position is approximately $45,000 per year, paid bi-weekly. Additional benefits include health insurance, a discount on parts at Tate Branch Autoplex Carlsbad, and opportunities for growth and development within the organization.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales (preferably in an automotive industry).
  • Working knowledge of parts and supplies for US-made and imported light trucks and passenger cars.
  • Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Good computer, phone, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver's license.
