Nurse II

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services.

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and ADLs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of six months experience as a Registered Nurse I with AHS or equivalent experience in a comparable setting.
• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training required.

• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred for positions in the Emergency Department.
