Telehealth Nephrology Specialist

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Nephrology Physician to utilize their expertise in a remote setting, providing clinical reviews and assessments with flexibility in scheduling.
Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role:
- You will work as an independent contractor, reviewing medical records and addressing client-specific questions, utilizing nationally recognized evidence-based guidelines and standards of care.
- Your expertise will be utilized to provide clear, concise rationales for determinations, accompanied by adequate supporting documentation.
- You will identify, critique, and apply current criteria and resources, including national, state, and professional association guidelines, and peer-reviewed literature.
- Maintenance of proper credentialing and state licenses, along with any special certifications or requirements necessary for the job, is expected.
- You will also attend required orientation and training, as well as perform other duties assigned, such as identifying and responding to quality assurance issues, complaints, regulatory issues, depositions, court appearances, or audits.
Requirements:
- An active Texas License is mandatory.
- You should have strong communication skills and be able to make telephone calls as mandated by the state and/or client specifics.
- A flat rate is offered for Group Health Record/Policy Reviews.
