Position Overview:
The role of the Housekeeping Environmental Services Associate is crucial in ensuring that the facility and its surrounding areas are kept in a clean, safe, and appealing state, adhering to the standards set by healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of designated areas following established cleaning protocols.
  • Utilize cleaning agents in accordance with safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Comprehend and execute proper disposal methods for hazardous waste and refuse.
  • Respond to and manage emergency spills in line with departmental procedures and safety regulations.
  • Effectively operate and maintain cleaning equipment as per standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that workspaces and storage areas are organized and comply with safety policies.
  • Utilize cleaning supplies efficiently and responsibly.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or facility issues promptly.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to read and interpret color-coded labels and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate departmental needs.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in professional housekeeping or cleaning services.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to carry, lift, push/pull, see, speak, squat/kneel, stand, and walk.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
