As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for providing specialized care in pain management and administering anesthesia to patients during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate Patient Risk Factors: Assess patients' vital signs, medical histories, allergies, current medication use, and other risk factors to determine the best course of treatment.
- Design Treatment Plans: Collaborate with a medical team to design a patient's treatment plan, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
- Administer Anesthesia: Oversee the administering of anesthesia to patients before procedures by other medical staff, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
- Monitor Patient Vital Signs: Monitor vital signs of the patient during surgery and adjust anesthetics as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document Patient Care: Maintain detailed notes on patient treatment, dosing, and vital signs to ensure accurate and effective care.
- Provide Continuing Care: Continue care after surgery to control the level of pain relief and consciousness, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
- Communicate with Medical Staff: Communicate continuing care instructions to specialists, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure seamless care.
- Provide Pre-Operative and Intra-Operative Care: Provide a variety of services to include pre-operative exams and intra-operative care utilizing MAC, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
- Provide Post-Operative Care: Provide post-operative care including ventilator management within recovery area and ICU, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm with rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities.
