Job Description

This 12-week full-time internship or 16-week co-op program offers students a chance to work alongside industry professionals on critical projects. You'll assist with compliance audits, implement safety standards, and collaborate with operations to analyze the impact of work processes on site safety.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, installation, and operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Assist teams in upholding safety and compliance standards to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Conduct audits of daily work permits and report findings with the EHS team and relevant leaders.
  • Support the implementation and understanding of EHS Standard Requirements to drive compliance across projects.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety (EHS), occupational health and safety, safety management, public health, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a safety-focused role, with a genuine interest in EHS best practices and standards.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $62,000-$70,000, based on national averages and considering the location and industry.
