About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health seeks a talented Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Advocate Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois. As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory care procedures and modalities to patients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive respiratory care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and treatment.
Requirements
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with a minimum of an associate degree.
