About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Advocate Children's Hospital in Justice, Illinois. As a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our young patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients
  • Administer respiratory care procedures and modalities in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to create a safe and supportive environment for patients
  • Operate specialized ventilators and equipment
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory health and disease management
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality patient care

Requirements:

  • RRT or CRT certification
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and ACCS certifications
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • No experience required
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Salary: $32.78 - $46.60 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. With shift differentials, weekend shifts may offer an additional 10-15% increase.
