Excela Health is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients
- Develop and implement anesthesia plans for patients
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia plans as needed
- Provide post-anesthetic care to patients
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Current licensure to practice as a CRNA in the State of Pennsylvania
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Actively practicing CRNA with maintenance of continuing education credits necessary for re-certification
- PA Act 153 Clearances (Act 34-PA Criminal Record Check from the PA State Police system, Act 33-PA Child Abuse History obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, Act 73-FBI Fingerprint screening)
- Masters of Science, or Masters of Health Science, or DNP, or DNaP
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to make quick decisions in emergency situations. The CRNA must be able to lift and move patients as needed, and must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Essential Physical ConditionsThe CRNA must be able to perform the following physical demands:
- Constantly: standing, walking, sitting, and fine finger manipulation
- Frequently: pushing/pulling, bending (stooping), and hand/arm coordination
- Occasionally: kneeling, squatting (crouching), and climbing stairs
The CRNA must be able to perform the following sensory requirements:
- Essential: hearing clearly, seeing near-with acuity, and color vision
