About the Role:

As a Continuous Improvement Coordinator at Masco Cabinetry, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate kaizen teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Participate in leading kaizen events and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with quality assurance to ensure adherence to standards and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Maintain the Cabinetworks Group Operating System (COS) training schedule and completion for all plant personnel.
  • Lead the 6S program and coordinate 6S activities throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Review processes using lean tools and documentation to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer experience with strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing tools and systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel 5-10% of the time for training and development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge or training of Six Sigma continuous improvement techniques.
  • Experience coordinating and leading kaizen events.
  • Knowledge of ISO guidelines.
