Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Park Place Surgery Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Operative Preparation: Assist in preparing the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
- Instrument Management: Assemble and check sterile and non-sterile equipment to ensure it is working properly.
- Patient Care: Help prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites, and transport patients to the operating room.
- Assisting Surgeons: Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons and surgeon assistants, and help count sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments.
- Post-Operative Care: Assist in transferring patients to the recovery room and clean and restock the operating room.
- Education: A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Experience: 2 years of clinical experience in a related field.
- Certifications: Certified to perform CPR.
Surgical technologists work in clean, well-lighted, cool environments. Must stand for long periods and remain alert during operations. At times may be exposed to communicable diseases and unpleasant sights, odors, and materials.
