Habilitation Assistant

Join CP Unlimited as a Habilitation Aide and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide assistance to our teaching staff in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized treatment plans. As a Habilitation Aide, you will work closely with our team to ensure the well-being and safety of our participants.

• Assist participants with activities of daily living, including toileting, grooming, and meal programs.
• Administer medications and record same.
• Accompany participants on program trips and to the emergency room as assigned.
• Implement participant individual treatment plans, including recreation and behavior plans.
• Monitor participants' well-being and report any changes in condition or health care concerns to the teacher and/or nursing staff.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of orientation training and medication course.
• 2 years related experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• New York State Driver's License and Agency Insurability.

Competitive pay rate of $16.05 - $16.80 per hour.
