Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure compliance with organizational, contracting client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the development, instruction, and testing of all contract employees assigned to the Customs and Border Protection processing centers.
  • Ensure that all training delivered is based on approved lesson plans and meets facility policies and standards.
  • Develop and maintain a current training program, ensuring all contract required training and certifications are maintained.
  • Establish and maintain current documentation regarding all training in both administrative and employee files.
  • Develop and maintain a firearms proficiency program and have certification as a firearms instructor.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline or three to five years of related industry experience.
  • Minimum of three years of related administrative experience managing a moderate to large training program.
  • Management experience in a secure detention environment is required.
  • Ability to prepare management, business, technical, and personnel reports, reviews, and documents for internal and external use.
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of program objectives, policies, procedures, and requirements for managing a secure detention facility.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Must pass a company Background Investigation and be a United States citizen or Lawfully Admitted Permanent Resident with five years successive residency.
  • Must not be currently employed by any federal agency, including active-duty military, whereas their employment under this contract could present an actual or apparent conflict of interest.
  • Must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must be capable of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, rules, and regulations in English.
