Codman Academy Charter School is seeking a highly qualified Substitute Teacher to teach Grade 11/12 Anatomy and Physiology and support Grade 9 Biology. This position will serve grades 9, 11, and 12.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and assessments.
    • Design engaging and interactive lessons to promote student learning.
    • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Classroom Management
    • Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.
    • Implement effective classroom routines and procedures.
    • Manage student behavior and provide support as needed.
  • Delivery of Instruction
    • Deliver high-quality instruction to students, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities.
    • Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning.

  • Monitoring, Assessment, and Follow-Up
    • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
    • Administer assessments and evaluations to measure student learning.
