Job Description

Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled RF Design Engineer to join our team in Baltimore, MD. As a key member of our Payload and Ground Systems organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems architecture, sub-systems, circuits, or products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RF and/or microwave systems architecture, sub-systems, circuits, or products.
  • Develop and test radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems, including antenna design, frequency synthesizers, transmitters, and receivers.
  • Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to design and develop RF and/or microwave systems.
  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or related discipline with 2 years of experience in RF and/or microwave design and development.
  • Active TS Clearance required at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain a SCI access.
  • Experience using RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers).
  • Experience using MATLAB.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience using modeling tools such as STK and HFSS.
