Job Overview

JEO Consulting Group is a multidisciplinary firm that provides expert services in land surveying, geospatial data collection, and field operations. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveying Professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform fieldwork on civil engineering, construction, and general surveying projects, including topographic, ALTA, boundary, Right of Way, and As-builts.
  • Collect and record geospatial data using various tools and equipment, including survey-grade GPS, robotic total stations, and digital cameras.
  • Collaborate with senior survey technicians and project teams to ensure accurate and efficient data collection and processing.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders through written and oral reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and notes of work performed, including sketches and photographs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in land surveying preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Efficient and safe work habits, with a valid driver's license and a driving record approved by our insurance provider.
  • Able to work approximately 95% of the time in the field, with the ability to stand for long periods, walk over various terrain, and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
