We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team at Shriners Children's. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our young patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and report data to assist the RN/LVN in the evaluation of patients.
- Organize and prioritize tasks in collaboration with the supervising RN/LVN to ensure seamless patient care.
- Carry out tasks related to the plan of care, as assigned, in coordination with the interdisciplinary team goals and according to the developmental level of the patient.
- Demonstrate open, accurate, and timely communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain competency, adhere to standard of practice, and recognize own learning needs to maximize development and optimal patient care.
- Provide wound care in partnership with the nurse.
- Preferred: 1+ year of relevant experience and CNA Certificate.
- Required: CPR certification.
