As a Senior Medical Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting statistical programming for dermatology-related research projects under the direction of a senior statistician and three principal investigators.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and provide support for database systems for clinical trials and observational studies.
- Perform statistical programming and analyses under the guidance of the senior biostatistician.
- Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Query databases and coordinate with research staff to address discrepancies and complete data cleaning procedures.
- Compile and submit to investigators, stakeholder committees, and study sponsors data discrepancy and adverse event reports.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, informatics, or computational science and 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating knowledge or database and statistical programming required.
- Working knowledge of electronic data capture systems, database design, and database management required.
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible in both task and schedule.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Preference given to candidates with demonstrated knowledge and programming experience in UNIX, R, SQL, and PYTHON.
