Aerospace Human Resources Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerospace Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Regent Aerospace Corporation.
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Role
The Aerospace Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for maintaining human resource policies and procedures, providing support in all functional areas of the HR department, and collecting and analyzing HR data to ensure integrity.
The ideal candidate will have two to three years of HR experience in manufacturing or aerospace, with excellent problem-solving abilities, good organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal and company business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain personnel files and perform special projects as assigned.
- Recruit, interview, and select employees to fill vacant positions, and coordinate Job Fairs on site.
- Initiate background checks and drug screens, and plan and conduct new employee orientation.
- Assist in the administration of leaves of absences and communicate with Corporate Human Resources.
- Coordinate with Corporate Human Resources and carry out specified programs in areas such as employee recognition and relations.
- Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, and bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.
- Head up the Safety Committee for Indiana facility and conduct regular safety inspections.
Requirements
- Two to three years of HR experience in manufacturing or aerospace.
- High school diploma, college courses preferred.
- Excellent computer software skills, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to work well with others, possess problem-solving and team-building skills, and be an effective listener and communicator.
Working Conditions
This is an inside work position with occasional time spent in a manufacturing plant environment.
