Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Dijon North Condominiums. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing work orders and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Complete work orders and repair tasks in a timely and efficient manner using Appfolio maintenance software.
  • Estimate the time and extent of repairs, and notify management if licensed professionals are required.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on systems, equipment, and buildings.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including material and supply inventory and tool/equipment maintenance logs.
  • Assist the manager with overseeing work performed by outside contractors, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with maintenance hand/power tools and equipment, including safe driving of company vehicles.
  • Competence in plumbing, electric, and equipment mechanics, including basic carpentry skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to use smart phone-based applications for work orders and time sheets.
  • Ability to handle physical workload, including ladder climbing, heavy lifting/carrying, frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and exposure to elements, dust, common fumes/odors, mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards.
