Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Float Pool Acute Care Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
- Implementing and evaluating care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Administering medications and performing treatments in accordance with hospital policies.
- Providing pre- and post-operative care to patients.
- Educating patients and their families about care plans and treatment options.
- Facilitating discharge planning in collaboration with the care team.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- An Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
