As a PHP Solutions Architect, your contributions will include:

  • Establishing a robust IT Architecture practice and promoting a comprehensive architecture and standards methodology.
  • Creating coding best practices, playbooks, frameworks, and solutions tailored for our clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborating with our team to develop exceptional products for our clients.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and high-performance code.
  • Defining architectural best practices for our platform.

  • Driving, documenting, and continuously refining platform standards.
  • Leading new technology research and experimentation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in PHP development.
  • At least five (5) years of experience with WordPress.
  • Familiarity with at least one PHP framework such as Symfony, Laravel, or CodeIgniter, or understanding of PHP open-source projects like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
  • Experience in making IT Architecture decisions.
  • Proficient in working with common third-party APIs.
  • Knowledge of W3 Standards and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git or Mercurial.
  • Ability to guide and mentor junior developers.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing roles and responsibilities.
  • Creativity and an open-minded approach to technical challenges.
  • Experience in a digital agency setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex performance issues and architectural challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working on a PC platform.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance.
  • An online portfolio or personal website showcasing relevant work is a plus.
