Job Title: Academic Gastrointestinal Pathologist

We are seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time faculty position as an academic gastrointestinal (GI) pathologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

About the Role

The successful candidate will participate in a busy clinical service, including sign out of GI biopsies and large resection specimens. Experience or interest in bone & soft tissue or other surgical pathology subspecialty is desirable. The ability to cover frozen sections is preferred.

Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Valid NC medical license or qualifications to obtain one
  • Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology
  • Previous GI fellowship training or an equivalent
